Re: Cyberpunk 2077
Does this have anything to do with the Cyberpunk RPG from the 80s?

Yes, it's an adaptation, the original was set in 2000 or so.

Can't wait, I absolutely loved the two Witcher games and am excited to see what they do with this franchise. And judging by that concept art, it looks like we'll be seeing some sort of fembot assassins or enemies what have you.

Oh wait, this is a video game rpg? Meh. I thought it was a relaunch of the old pen-and-paper game.

Re: Cyberpunk 2077
That's good news. Maybe they've decided to buck the current trend in gaming and actually release a finished product instead of charging $60 for a beta and then releasing "patches" for a year until it works.

Re: Cyberpunk 2077
Releasing a beta and then patching it in years to come, unluckily, is the main trend. When they do it actually. Most of the time they quit it after a couple of months and you have to rely on third party patches.
CD Project Red, however, tends to give most of their DLC either free or at a substantially reduced cost for whomever bought the original game. Unlike some other producers. (read: nigh all of them).

As much as I love steam, this is a game you should pickup on GOG, 100% goes to support CDPR.
