Here's hoping she's a little more sympathetic than Bea in this version (which doesn't seem unlikely, seeing all the other ways in which they've softened it); if she is it might be the one saving grace of this series over the Swedish one, where Bea's amazing heel turn nonetheless came at a cost to my natural sympathy towards her.

Does anyone have a good link to watch the Swedish episodes online (with English subtitles)? I watched the English series and did enjoy it, but apparently most everyone else liked the Swedish version much better and I'd love to see how much better this series can get. Plus I'm very happy it's been picked up for another 8 episodes in the States, too.

Do you FTP, Dollspace? We've got Akta.Manniskor.S01+S02, with English subtitles. The files are located, logically enough, in [Western TV], [2010s].

Ask a moderator for access, if you aren't already a user of the Stepfordworld/Fembot Central FTP archive (0.676 terabytes strong).

I just watched the first season of the Swedish original again and I've remembered why I had long forgotten it. Typical Swedish thriller, a lot of loose ends and characters turning into complete morons all out of sudden. Uh, and Bea replacing Niska as the psychotic killer robot in the second season serves no purpose but having a psychotic killer robot in the piece.
