A couple of finds.

Post by tectile » Mon Aug 12, 2013 7:48 am

Went poking around on literotica this weekend and found a couple of stories.

This story doesn't contain malfunctions or open panels but is very heavy on hardcore sex. Not really my kind of story but I found it interesting because it's told from the point of view of the sexbot.

I'm not sure how to describe this one. It's just weird.

I think Cecilauthor wrote that one (I know I'm not spelling his name right but yea...) used to be a member here. Very nice guy, but we just didn't end up being friends; I think I'm kinda paranoid on this forum sometimes...but from what I remember he was quite good. Don't know for sure, though, if it's him, so...who knows? The mystery deepens.....

That is indeed the work of Cecilauthor. And no, Dollspace, you're actually spelling it right. =P

In fact, he posted a teaser for that very story on this board back in February: http://www.fembotcentral.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=10758

I actually really did like his writing. It was mechanically sound, nicely descriptive, and had some interesting premises and twists. I never have got around to reading much of it though, because a lot of his works are quite lengthy, and I am incredibly lazy. I suspect that might be why he never got much response when posting here, sadly. I still regret never saying much, if anything, about them myself. =\

Also, while I'm at it: The first story was interesting for the sake that it was told really well. I always love stories told from the robot's viewpoint, and her internal thoughts were pretty evocative. Unfortunately however, I found her to be too anthropomorphized at a lot of points, which really pulled me out of the story. The moments of extreme fear and sadness, for instance, just seemed ridiculously implausible coming from a commercially-sold sex android. There's also a LOT of sex. I kind of expected that considering it's Literotica, but the actual act of sex bores me to sleep, so I merely skimmed through much of the story in search of the interesting bits. Of course, I realize I'm in the minority with my disinterest in sexual intercourse, so for someone who really enjoys that stuff, it might be a really fun story.

You summed up my thoughts exactly. The bot was far more human than I would have liked and the ability to feel pain and fear caters to a sadistic side of some peoples nature that I don't want to read about.
Think I'll go re read some of BA's stories or some "Tales of Syntec" to cleanse the palate :)
