Free Custom movie dead in the water

I really don't know what to say.
I cant explain it.
Every month we get dozens of paid custom requests

When I announced Kymberly jane we got 4 paid custom requests that day.

Yet when I offer to produce a FREE custom that all you have to do is get together and write a story for no-one wants in.

I could understand if we were unpopular.
If we sucked making movies
If we never got customs
If we never made any sales....
At least then I could understand the lack of involvement.

Fembots are our third best niche after sleepy and freeze,
We love making the movies and trying to up our abilities by challenging our limits.

I honestly thought that giving a way a free custom would be something you guys would jump at.

I dont understand but I will continue making movies and selling them and as usual accepting customs.

If you guys ever decide to try again then get together and collectively write a story and we will do it......

I had been under the impression that there were three prominent suggestions under consideration, and had assumed that further discussion was being conducted in private with the three authors. Given that assumption and my commitment to my ongoing writing project, I'd taken the approach that it was already being taken care of, and anything I might have to contribute would be surplus to requirements.

I'm pretty sure I could bash out something, given a little clarification:

* About how long, in minutes, should it be?
* What kinds of props are available for use?
* How many girls?
* What kinds of clothing/costumes are available?
* Presumably, the filming location would be the same as most of your other clips, correct?

WilloWisp, your efforts have been very fruitful.

I wouldn't know how to account for the almost total lack of response to my efforts. I think there may not be as many members as I had thought, who come through at least once a week. And lurking is a very natural state for those of us who have felt silenced in the RW.

I was saddened that no one wanted to take the shambling mound I'd started, knock it down and build something from the pieces. I almost tore my hair out, but that Groundhog Day never goes well for this guy.

At first, from this thread's title, I thought Evangeline had picked up a new script.
"Dead in the Water" sounds like a don't-get-me-wet! title.

Actually, I had been busy with school and such (trying to complete a degree is difficult) - but I had the script finished for a bit. I thought the first script we were going with was Dale's but if you need the script submitted Ms. Von Winter, I can post it here or directly to your e-mail by tomorrow morning.

The idea wasn't for a group of you to contact me privately via email to give me your personal custom project but to collaborate together to create something a group would like to see.
I suggested three options and one of them won and Dale Coba asked for help and suggestions

if some of those who voted for my B.S. would step up to help shape the script with me, I think it would have a better chance at being a better product. My record is littered with failures , and big plans washed away when interrupted by depression or other health problems. I'm too neurotic to work on important projects without advice, assistance, or a safety net.

Since no-one replied to his call the story did not get written and therefore did not get made. If you guys can work this out I would be more than willing to do this custom for you as promised.

Ahh, I see now. When you said:

You literally meant, "community written script, start to finish," correct? I had interpreted it to mean "community ideas, whatever's popular, actual line-by-line script to be written by author and discussed with Evangeline & Levi, then posted for public review and suggestions."

We're geeks. We need specific instructions, otherwise we make assumptions based on our (frequently less-than-accurate) understanding of social interaction. In many ways, we're worse about that than the robots we write and daydream about. You said suggest ideas, people suggested ideas. You said vote, people voted. From my personal perspective, I thought we were waiting for instructions for the next step.

I'll consider this thread to be that next instruction, and see about turning at least one of the suggested ideas into something resembling a script.

Some of us are also prone to a bit of ADD, and may need telling more than once. Some of us - myself in particular - can sometimes be thick as a brick. Then, when we're made aware of the oversight, can be so apologetic as to seem obsequious. Then we start to spend so much time on trying to make sure we didn't hurt any feelings that it starts to get in the way of actually addressing the thing we overlooked in the first place, and...

I should probably get to work on scripts now.

I got the first two parts completed already - and posted it on the FTP for everyone to view. It is a rough but I think I got everything Dale wanted to get across in his idea. Once I got into it, it actually was fun to write (for something I liked again.) Please download and give critique, Dale this is your brain child - So your input is most important.

Finally completed the first script based on Dale Coba idea, I have placed in the FTP for Dale and all of you to peruse, comment, and run with. Actually, I really want to thank you guys - I stopped writing for a while because I could find that missing element in my work. Now, I have found it again - and I want to thank everyone for that.
