I'm looking for a novel

I'd like to know the title of a novel I once took out of the Carlingwood Library. It involves a female cyborg who is carrying the spirit of an elven nobleman in her partly mechanical body. This cyborg is a fully adult secretary who was sent through some sort of wormhole and had to be converted on her return.
