This is the first movie with our new story writer.
We hope you enjoy it.
Evangeline is the head of the robotics R&D lab at Aperture Science. She is in a race against a rival department "Black Mesa" to develop a functioning assassin fembot. Evangeline has been working on the new "GUN" system for a while and it looks as if after several tries and reforging the unit may be ready....until it starts showing signs of programming distress.

And yes the story took very heavily from the song "Still Alive" from the videogame Portal.
it was one of Willies favorite games (along with Portal 2) and it was used as a throwaway interview question. the answer was so cool we decided to go with it as his first job.
he also came up with a great idea for want you gone also from portal 2, but that one hasn't gotten written or filmed yet.

Yes but silly is good.
Silly means we are comfortable with each other.
Silly means that you guys understand that I am not a diva who is going to flip out when someone makes a joke.
I have become very fond of this community and have noticed that you guys are always super respectful, and kind.
Not all my movies are smash hits
(actually very few are)
but you guys are kind when I put out a dog, and you forgive me my bad humor

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that sometimes I like seeing that stereotypical robotic movement. Some models don't get it and it takes three or four takes to get them to do it right. sometimes i just give up on them and tell them to ditch the robotic movement all together.
Some models get it right. Personally I like the idea of a semi-humanoid movement that switches to full robot as they are shut down or when they are malfunctioning. I can understand the idea that a machine can be made to mimic a natural movement but it being a machine the ability to mimic would be part of the program which would "Slip" while shutting down.
That might be me over thinking things again, and It could be me being a pain in the ass about things again.
I do however like the idea of some believability in the films if not reality.
I have seen some horrendous portrayals of fembots though.
I look forward to making better films as I truly enjoy making these movies.

Quite. It's not at all an easy thing to do. It's easy to overdo it. Which is why I'm glad there are the precious few models who can nail it.

I like the robotic movement. I believe that there should be some kind of physical phenomenon that displays their artificiality. Albeit limited range of motion, pausing to process data, malfunctioning, etc. Anyway just wanted to put in my 2 cents.

It sounds hot to me. The only depiction of the above that I've seen was in the Sexbots in space comic.
