ASFR and machinima

Does anyone here know about machinima? I am becoming more and more interrested in this kind of movies. Machinima stands for machine and cinema and are movies that are made in pc games, films using 3d computer graphics. They can be produced by everyone. Therefore it sounds for me as an ideal platform for producing fembot related movies. Anyone here expert for this stuff? There is a worldwide community and there are machinima awards.

I used to do Machinima a while back. For PC's, its simple. You need a software like FRAPS to record the screen, and an editign software like pinnacle or (pricier) Final Cut Pro. If you're on a mac, you can just use quicktime to make audio and screen capture recordings. And you also need a microphone or actors and actresses online in order to do the voices.

For consoles, it's a WHOLE other thing. You need a video capture card that can connect your console display into a recording software on your computer. Either way, it's VERY time consuming. It's donkey work, actually. But the end result looks wicked.
