Hiya fellow ASFRians... your ol pal PETE#69 here.... Sooo i watched the Avengers cartoon today... an i caught a SWORD Agent Abigail Brand mutter this line.. inresponce to Sentor Girck Girck" Agent Brand... I read your file & never saw anything to say your Superhuman" Agent Brand" What MAKES you think I'm Human??" Ok i have been out the comic loop since i went in the Navy back in 92' & completely stop collecting when Marvel desided to start screwing around & CHANGE heros orgins back stories & adust certin hero Mutant powers, just to make sure that charector remained popular.. anywho... what the hell is SWORD?? Is this Shield's outer space branch?? two... Can i truly be.. as i thought just by her deminer & voice that Agent Brand is a robot or android??? Hope someone can answer these questions.... WE TRUE BELIVERS NEED TO KNOW lol .... your pal PETE#69/ANDROID69

Half alien, according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abigail_Brand, and girlfriend of Beast. SWORD is a Joss Whedon invention and is indeed SHIELD's outer space branch.

Yup, Brand & SWORD are some of the things introduced in Joss's (very good, imho) X-Men run. I enjoyed it because he built off many of the concepts Grant Morrison introduced in his run (Scott & Emma, for example).

I should add that there was some ... er, "relevant" content in the first episode fo this season.

Without even having watched that much Avengers (though what I've seen I've liked), I'm guessing it's setting up either Ultron or Jocasta.

Season 2 epiosde 12: Secret Invasion contains a breif scene with a robot version of Maria Hill

Season 2 episode 17: Ultron Unlimited features Jocasta as well as a robot copy of Ms Marvel

Well, great.

The videos of Secret Invasion and Ultron Unlimited are down, no thanks to Warner Bros. & Disney.

Thankfully, there's other options by looking through Google for episode links, OR just search through YouTube again for someone who's uploaded the episodes.
