I caught the first episode, and I'm not crazy about the show. Don't really care for the animation (it's like a poor man's Incredibles), and Hal lies to Carol Ferris like EIGHT times in the first ten minutes. GLs are supposed to be HONEST and FEARLESS. Now, I can accept that they've changed the latter to "overcome great fear", but don't take the former. If I want to watch a superhero come up with lame excuses to his girlfriend to cover his superheroing, I'll watch ANY OTHER SUPERHERO CARTOON EVER.

Carol is supposed to be a member of the Star Sapphire corps anyway

I'm enjoying the series so far. Having a Red Lantern on the team will be interesting as this episode was. As far as the animation goes I'm used to it after watching Transformers: Prime since it started but it's to be expected since it's a weekly show and can't go into alot of detail.

I'd rather just have traditional animation.

Just wanted to update this a bit. The last two episodes have given Aya a decent amount of good screen time for us. Ep 6 she gets deactivated. Clip is here:

and Ep 7 she gets really damaged by the Red Lantern leader.

I'm not overly familiar with the Green Lantern universe but it's a cool series so far.
