Announcement regarding The V.I.C.I. Diaries

Thanks to a serious screw-up last night that may or may not have wiped my other PC's hard drive, I may not be able to continue The V.I.C.I. Diaires. All data related to the series was on that other PC, and if the hard drive got wiped, I lose EVERYTHING. Hopefully, it'll all be recovered, but if not...I don't want to think about what might happen if it can't be recovered.

As long as the drive still works, try something like Recova or OnTrack's data recovery.

Sorry to hear you lost your data. I hope you can get it recovered. I was enjoying the V.I.C.I stories too.

The good news: The hard drive WASN'T reformatted, meaning the data is most likely still there.

The bad news: It'll take the rest of the week for the thing to get fixed.

Whatever you read in this post originally, it's no longer relevant: the files are still intact, but the directory names are screwed up. Hopefully, this can be fixed soon, and I'll be back on the road to bringing The V.I.C.I. Diaries to this forum once again.
