REST IN PEACE RANDY!!! ;(,,,, When others rooted for that lameduck pill-popin, knew only 4 moves Hogan, RANDY The MACHO MAN SAVAGE was MY favorite as I grew up!! right up there with STING, RIC Flair, HHH, LOD: THE ROAD WARRIORS, Ricky the Dragon Steamboat, Jake The Snake Roberts, The Hart foundation,& Bret as a singles wrestler. Randy was 10 times better than most then, & still much better than some now. Knew how to rock a crowd & work the camera! Truely he will be missed... Always your ol pal PETE#69/ANDROID69

I found out on CNN the day the story broke and I was stunned to say the least. What I didn't know was for a long time both Savage and Hogan weren't on speaking terms for years or at least that's what I heard.

Yeah, that's why Savage's TNA tenure was "blink or you'll miss it"- TNA was courting Hogan at the time (though he wouldn't show up for several more years), and Savage didn't care for that.

The first time I ever saw him wasn't on a wrestling program but a short on Cartoon Network promoting the Swat Kats when I was a youngster. Ironically, I started watching the show again around the time he passed.

RIP brother!
