The Medusa Effect (morphing into stone statues)
The Midas Effect (same as above with gold)
Time Stopping (freezing people in one position)
Body Manipulation (remote control humans)
Possession (body manipulation from inside the body)
Sexual Mind Control (emotional or psychic control over one or more individuals)
Brain Washing (programming the brain to follow illegal, unethical, humiliating, or unusual commands)

I think an organic component is needed for a robot type relationship to work, even if it's a slave relationship to obey your every command.

This thread can be purely fictional, fictional but based on fact, or just a news report.
