What ever happened to ButchyBoy?

Hello.

I'm an occasional lurker here.

I very much enjoy ButchyBoy's stories (the Harry and Cricket Lang advenures), but I've noticed that the last one, "Droid Hunter", was never finished, and that the author doesn't seem to have posted to this board since March 2007. (Checking the search-posts-by-author feature).

Does anyone know what happened to ButchyBoy?
Did he just decide to quit this board, or did something else happen...?
Has he posted the rest of the story elsewhere on the web?
Does anyone know?

A quick Google search reaveals that he also has a livejournal page at http://butchyboy65.livejournal.com/, but it also hasn't been updated since Feb 2007.

If anyone has any info, then thanks.

He's still around occasionally, and I still talk to him. I actually had Thanksgiving dinner with his family once when I was younger! He's really sweet, and is also a very talented author. He and I used to have many creative plot-forming conversations. I'll send him a message that there's a compliment waiting for him here; maybe he'll stop by!

First, thank you so much for the kind words. Guess you never know that you're miissed until......well you see it in front of you. I haven't quit the board, I still lurk here and there. So much has happened in the last......oh I guess two years now......all seems like such a bloody blur. The unexpcted loss of my Father in July of 08 knocked us all for a loop. I was hospitalized in September after a rather nasty asthma attack that had me entering the ER a rather purplish shade so I was told A lot of work time (and wages) were lost as a result, and I've been doing my best to make it up. I'm just so greatful to be working for such an understanding group of people and that I'm still gainfully employed.

I'm really hoping to finish and post the entire Droid Hunter story rather sooner than later. Now that both my cell phone and ITouch are freeing up a lot of my poor overworked PC's resources, it should make things eaiser. In the meantime, please feel free to look me up on Facebook -- Butch Shomph -- and i'll be happy to add you as a friend if you so desire. That way you can all poke and prod and nag till I finish my long overdue Cricket adventure.
