IT ROCKED. Does anyone besides me think the series is headed for a bright future with J.J. Abrahms at the helm?
Elvis Lives. Not in this timeline, but in quite a few others.

Same here. I thought Abrams managed to perfectly capture the feel of Star Trek.
My only suggestion is that the next movie have some more robots.

Damnit, JJ! I want to see your interpretation on Andrea, or Mudd's Robots, or Rayna Capek right now!
Seriously, what an awesome movie, almost in spite of itself. Already gone twice, and I'm seeing it again as soon as I'm able. Star Trek is reborn, and if they get a better script next time then we might be going to totally insane, unheard-of heights.
But really, more eye-candy next time. I have a wish list for actresses to play Chapel, Dr. Marcus, Dr. Noel, Yeoman Rand, Yeoman Colt, or our aforementioned robot friends.
