Anyone for Panto?

Hi there.
If you're in London, I'd recommend going to the Stratford East 'Panto' Mama Goose. The character of 'AI Jill' is a fembot designed to fall in love with the main character's son and steal the family's golden-egg-laying goose; The plot specifics don't matter! The important part is that the set up is 'straight down the middle' as far as I'm concerned; Fembot assigned to a nefarious task, obviously not up to it. It doesn't play out in the predictable way I'd prefer but the actress absolutely nails a barely-human robotic performance, with pre-recorded sounding voice, mechanical movements and almost constantly 90 degree elbows. There is also a section where she is repeatedly deactivated and activated (with impressively gymnastic forward-bending) leading to a malfunction scene. She also does the can-can...
It's only on until this weekend and tickets are selling fast apparently.
