Google Gemini + Veo

Post by Anderson88 » Fri Jun 13, 2025 11:41 pm

[Mods, if AI content is not appropriate, feel free to delete this thread]

I've been using Google Gemini for the last few days, and it's produced great results for mechabare content.

If anyone is interested, I've uploaded the best results to the FTP.

As I only have a Pro account, I'm limited to 3 video generations a day. But haven't hit an image generation limit just yet. Love to hear your thoughts.

Can I ask for some example prompts you've been using? I keep getting blocked by the filter for most of my prompts.

Tried it mostly with Veo 2 due to credit cost of model 3. Just trying out what works, still needs a bit of tweaking, but it's a great tool already.

here are some prompts i used!

A busty female android soldier with long red hair wearing soldier uniform. she’s sitting down on a battlefield. another soldier is holding her in his arms. smoke and white oil come from holes in her chest. on a small electronic panel embedded in the skin of her arm, it says “damage critical” in red text. sad, she says “cognitive functions offline. goodbye… captain.” then dies. aerial view.

A busty female android engineer with long red hair wearing tattered spaceship uniform is on the ground, sitting against the wall. An astronaut is holding her in his arms. blank eyes, mouth open. Sparks and white oil come from holes in her chest. on a small electronic panel embedded in the skin of her arm, it says “systems failing” in red text. aerial view. Weakly, she says “goodbye, my friend. Shutting… down.” then dies

I'm actually hoping that finally we'll get some animations of some decent story lines in this community. This from a point of view that wishes for more animated visuals produced for us by us in the community after eons of wild searching for seeming random "finds".
While I can appreciate the "theater of the mind" stories section here I really hope after over 20+ years online we can get some motion videos as well.
My humble first requests are stories involving sleeper? themes or one of my favorite comics from back in the day involving fembots in space (I forget the actual title and author, sorry) :(

In this instance, I was trying to show appreciation for the stories by providing short visual media, but definitely overstepped in my approach. If anyone's interested in viewing those videos, they're now in the FTP.

Well, safe to say my hopes are already immediately lost. Can't imagine why any author would complain about any of their work made into motion visuals. Just keep things as they are with the same manips and written stories.

Well, safe to say my hopes are already immediately lost. Can't imagine why any author would complain about any of their work made into motion visuals, especially with the proper accreditation . Just keep things as they are with the same manips and written stories.

I've enjoyed what you've done, will keep following along; worse case scenario there are other platforms to share on.

Yeah, I figured these visuals would be considered something like fan fiction. A riff off the original work with no expectation of monetary gain. But rules are rules here.

I enjoy these short clips and am happy for people to use my writing and images in this way, after all I don’t usually ask permission to manipulate images!

I do get the concerns around AI but you are using it to create content which I don’t see a realistic alternative method for and you’re also not flooding the world with unfiltered sludge…

I'm of the same mind. Our particular niche is already extremely small, and finding content for it (specially considering that its not even all-encompassing, as discussed in many different topics here in the forums, the "Robot" part that each one likes goes from different types of bots, built, converted, cyborg, etc., to different situations the bots themselves are in) that fits one's specific niche is like a needle in a haystack.

Stamping on creativity like this feels like shooting ourselves in the foot. I can completely understand some authors not wanting their stories done like this I suppose, but as BA said, this isn't flooding with "AI slop". This is a deliberate attempt to recreate evocative scenes with available tools that otherwise would be impossible to produce.

I realise there are potential moral implications with how AI visuals trawl other people's work - but surely that's more related to money-making efforts.
So the issue then is; are the results any good? Do people like the result?
I for one have found some AI video absolutely spell-binding. The only thing that's missing are the specific prompts that relate to my 'kink'. As soon as someone starts making videos of non-self-aware, 'impossibly beautiful' fembots being tricked into malfunctioning, I am watching those videos!

IMO the main issue here is that the people running this site want this to be more of an 'art gallery' than simply creating and sharing what a lot of us seem to enjoy, and advancing the community's content

There is literally zero difference in someone thoughtfully and artistically putting together an AI piece and using elements of other people's work for photo manips
