Its a female version of the original Deathlok cyborg. So...its meat and metal in sort of an unappealing mix. Rotting...meat...

Well she isn't an actual deathlok.
While the Original deathloks are nothing but corpses reanimated by cybernetics, she isn't (altough she has a lot of the same tech in her).
She got attacked by one and got fatally injured, but she was alive when she undergone the conversion into a cyborg (by her father).
So rest assured, no rotting meat under the metal plating

Besides there are a lot uglier cyborgs out there in the marvel universe, have you seen Lucia von bardas?

I find it really depends on the artist/media when it comes to how horrific/pretty a comic book character is. Lucia von Bardas looks actually pretty decent in a Fantastic Four cartoon episode ( 'Doomsday Plus One') and not half bad in an Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes episode ('The Private War of Doctor Doom').
