Brytestar Chronicles Multiverse - Rough Draft of sorts.

Post by Brytestar » Thu Feb 07, 2013 8:33 pm

Hi everyone,

I've been coming up with a whole lot of ideas. However for some strange and odd reason I simply don't have time to write as much as I like. So this last Christmas I decided to try out Dragon NaturallySpeaking. In hopes of let letting my voice do the writing so my fingers don't have to pay the price.

I've decided to try a few avenues. First was going to be having my main character Jake be part of the Buffy/Angel verse. A second Avenue I wanted to try was the Hercules and Xena universe. The last two avenues I wanted to try where part of the Phantasy Star and Final Fantasy universes.

Now as I mentioned before I do have a few ideas I did mention the avenues already. Now as a question for all of you do any of you have a particular type of fanfiction that you want to see more of? It may or may not fit with the avenues I wanted to explore in the previous paragraph?

Buffy/Angel verse

my original idea for this vein was twofold. I kind of think of this is a big "what if?"
What if April got free of Warren? What of Buffybot was found by somebody and got repaired?

Hercules and Xena universe

What if the goddess Hera made another elemental enforcer? Or what if Hephaestus made another variant of Galatea? Or a mechanical version of his wife Aphrodite?

Phantasy Star universe

I always love the Phantasy Star series although my personal favorites were three and four. Three was basically a most overlooked game in the entire series the so-called black sheep of the family the story was somewhat simple. I had really hoped that the story would be retold using the current technology but chances are that may not happen. I love four because it had a real powerful story and it connected with the first and second games of the series. Also it had androids and gynoids within the setting making it a good base to tell a story or five.

Final Fantasy universe

I also love the series even know at some level and on a much smaller scale robots would be hard to find. Even though they are possible in the pen and paper RPG version. But I do favor some of the abilities and skill sets that the characters in this universe can use. Especially magic tech which can be applied to androids and gynoids. Although this is the most likely the last universe I would have Jake visit or at the very least priority wise.

So I'm wondering if anybody got some any additional ideas that I might want to consider?

SORRY JAKE...I already FOUND Buffybot and tried to repair her, but you already know the outcome... you YOURSELF have been at the business end of her fists at times, and try as I might to make her a bit friendlier... it ain't working. ..... You COULD try a story about the rebuilding of my old WILLOW BAY island resort with your own spins... but if you do something ORIGINAL from the start, you might enjoy the ride even better. I always enjoy reading what you come up with .... so ------take a few of your very favorite things, stick 'em in a genre of story you enjoy, figure out an ending first, and write UP to that, using characters that you would like to hang with. Writing shouldn't feel like a chore... if it flows, it GOES... and if you are enjoying what you're writing.... the audience will see that, and ride WITH you.
...From my HEART and from my HAND
WHY don't people understand my intentions?

Still thinking as I said it's a multiverse of it would be interesting playing the big "what if" does fascinate me even if someone else runs with it. :)
