Aside from being one of the major contributors to the meme that all science is inherently evil, flawed and will kill and maim people at every occasion, he did write some pretty neat books with great ideas in them.

He did more research and backed himself with more facts than any of you ever will. Show some respect. As for him being anti-technology, if anyone ever bothered to read his books, then you will know that he mainly warned about the abuse of technology so that safeguards will be in place. Seriously, this forum is sinking to new lows.

It's kind of sad that I didn't hear about this sooner. I'm a huge fan of Jurassic Park (and Westword, although I only saw it once when I was 6); I hope that everyone here will be respectfull and avoid saying "Michael Chrichton fucking sucks" for no reason other than to be complete twats.
