I just want to wish all my fellow Houstonians, Texans, and neighbors safe passage through the storm. I've got my supplies and I'm boarded in real tight. I'll see you on the other side!

Best of luck to you, Keizo. Let us know how it goes. If things go really bad maybe they'll evacuate you to New Orleans so the people of that city can repay you the hospitality you gave them.

*Hailing from South Houston,TX* still alive, and with power, it looks like it's random outages everywhere. Points me and my family made it thru(along with the house) Here's hoping Keizo has had the same fortune as we did. He just maybe unable to commuiate do to power being out.

If you're thinking about donating some $$$ to any relief funds, I urge you to not forget about the poor animals left behind by their owners when forced to evacuate. Throw a few bucks to your favorite animal charity doing rescue work. They need it.

Hey, thanks for the good thoughts. Things are slowly getting back to manageable. It's not just my place that I've been busy with, but my mother's and grandmother's as well. Luckily the damage to our properties wasn't TOO severe, but power and supplies were a problem for a while. Fortunately I had prepared, but they didn't fair as well. I'm glad no one was hurt, though.
