Many old works are vanishing

Post by A-xiaNG » Sun Apr 26, 2026 10:06 am

Just a little rambling. Lately, I've been looking back at some posts shared in this community a few years ago. Many of the video links that friends shared have since stopped working—either removed by the platform, taken down because the uploader's account was closed, or, in the case of some non-YouTube content, simply gone due to expired domains. A lot of the works I used to love are nowhere to be found when I want to revisit them. On YouTube in particular, three of my saved playlists each have over a dozen videos that are no longer watchable. One whole playlist even disappeared entirely because the user who created it deleted their account. Every time this happens, I feel really sad. It's not that those things were incredibly brilliant—but beyond the videos themselves, they also carried my memories of the past :(

Join the crowd - I used to read stuff on the Gynoid Gallery and gynoid.dreamhost back in the day myself. It is what it is. something closes down, something opens up. It happens to all the smaller communities that can't sustain something as huge as Furaffinity or adult-themed game modding.
