Rendering new gynoid model
So, which do you prefer - With linear solenoids, or without?
(Linear solenoids are the pistons)
Just wondering.

Re: Rendering new gynoid model
Personally I like linear actuators, because I get absurdly curious when I see any robot at the level of "how it works", and those pistons (at least for the bigger articulations) are technology I can understand so the mechanic in me gets really happy
Re: Rendering new gynoid model
So that is the technical name of those pistons!
definitely with.
Unless you are going to emulate all muscles using pneumatic muscles.

Re: Rendering new gynoid model
I was wondering the exact same thing.
Looks like it might be at least partially based off this:
https://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/cyb ... le/141797/
However, the pictures on Renderosity do not depict some of the details shown in this render - in particular, the more human-like bones (ribs, hips, skull) differ wildly. Strangely, though, it also doesn't seem to be based off the ever-popular Cyborg Version 4 (https://www.daz3d.com/cyborg-version-4) or Cyborg Generation 8 (https://www.daz3d.com/cyborg-generation-8-female). Maybe some of the parts are original.

That's the missing piece of the puzzle I was looking for! The endoskeleton is from this:WilloWisp wrote: ↑Fri Mar 06, 2020 3:07 pmI was wondering the exact same thing.

Re: Rendering new gynoid model
This figure is an amalgamation of several different models with a number of custom elements and changes.
The base skeletal layer is the 'Fembot 3.0' as seen here on renderocity:
https://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/fem ... e-8/135750
The pseudo-muscular/organ layer is the CyBody as seen here on rederocity:
https://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/cyb ... le/141797/
However, there are some custom elements I have added, some pieces I have taken away, some rigging I have changed (the native rigging on the skeleton isn't great. Its pieces are just individually matched to body parts without any kind of morphing done. This is apparent during movement, as there is a ton of poke-through), altered textures/materials on every surface I believe, and I am still not quite done with it. Most recently I added a urethral tube connecting the urethra to one of the fluid reservoirs, and a vaginal secretion tube connecting its vaginal sleeve to the other fluid reservoir. Both tubings are rigged to follow the bodies movement.
Reproducing everything here on your own is not a huge task, but may take a non-insignificant amount of time.
I would appreciate if someone could inform me with a source as to the legality of sharing customized models, since I believe to import such a custom model in Daz3D you still have to own the base models it is referencing. I'm not sure though.
When I feel I've made significant progress I'll update more.
EDIT: There are other other base models I am using that play a minor role in this model. I will make a list including every base model I used and where to get it when I am finished. I am fairly sure that the two models listed are the only two I used that aren't free (excluding the genitalia both internally and on the skin sheath).

Here is the link link to Renderosity's general license agreement:

You probably won't be able to share a customized model because including the base model (Fembot 3.0 and CyBody) would be illegal. But a list of the products you used would go a long ways for the rest of us.
You're doing awesome work.

Re: Rendering new gynoid model
Interesting. After a quick glance, it definitely seems like sharing the actual meshes would be illegal. However I think sharing a DazStudio scene file seems to be fine. These files don't include any direct model data, just transformations/edits on said models. That being said, if someone were to import this into DazStudio it would ask them to locate all of the model's pathways, since your file pathways are undoubtedly different than mine. Might be a minor inconvenience.1001011001 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 09, 2020 12:35 am Here is the link link to Renderosity's general license agreement:

I'll probably do that since it seems like an easy and legal way to go about things.

Re: Rendering new gynoid model
'With' because I like mechanical bits on my bots, but the 2nd one looks very modern and smooth.
English isn't my first language (and still isn't a second...). So, if i commit some mistake, PLEASE inform me.
