Enforcer Story basic start.

Post by Brytestar » Fri Jun 08, 2012 2:20 pm

The Golden Age of Greece when mythical monsters and villany fought choosen heroes both small and great. Once such tale took place with the rise of the Enforcer of Water created by Hera in an attempt to remove Hercules. This woman automation nearly felled the mighty Herc if he had not thrown her into glowing embers in some smithy. One say that she had a quick end. If not for the event that took place in the Underworld. (Yes Hades domain for those Greek myth buffs out there.)

Now I know what you're thinking. Awww it's over already? Nope not by a long shot. According to the next tale Hera created a replacement who was far more dangerous this time the element was fire. Meanwhile in the Underworld Hades was stumped about what to do with the now dead automation. Sometime later arrangements were made and the mighty Herc took the Water Enforcer back to the world of the living.

Now I won't repeat everything but needed to say that both the Fire and Water Enforcers had a big megafight. In the first illusation you can see that the Water Enforcer was destoryed but was avenged by Herc defeated the Fire Enforcer. Of course Hades gave the fallen enforcer a soul and was allowed to pass on the the next world. No one knew if the Fire Enforcer was sent to Hades domain as well. Her story ended there for there was no written record of what happened. That was the backstory. From some old record when I went to Greece during a vacation and a personal historical field trip.

Now before I continue I haven't officially introduced myself. I'm Jake Brytestar and I'm an high level demigod/lesser god but its a little tough to define. How high level you ask? Let's just say I caught up with Hera but still a couple decades away from catching up with Zeus had the Olympian pantheon was still standing. But wait a minute don't you need prayer power and holy credit as it were? Short answer is no of course its still a gray area for some. Something that I will not debate. But my motivation is learning more skills but at the same time NOT wanting to rule the world like some dictators of evil that I will not name.

Now getting back to my time in Greece. I went all over the place of course Mt. Olympus was my last stop but it was there that I learned a very powerful secret. Wait you said that the Olympians were all gone! My answer to that is yes and no. They aren't walking around but there were written documents now of course all deities have the power of comprehend language. Of course I collected them all didn't want history (real or fake) to just be lost in the sands of time. Myself personally I wanted imagery most of the documents that I was able to uncover afforded me this wonderful option.

My mind went back to school (yes mortal school had to play a role with the norms) and I had the nine muses in my head. If this was history or scribing I looked for the scroll emblem and sure enough that these were scrolls so the writer in question was Clio the muse of History. I was thankful that Clio recorded the amount of what will take scholars decades to digest for me took at least a week I didn't mind being up on the mountain top for that long. Now let's not get sidetracked any longer then neccessary. There were a particular set of documents that really intrigues me the most just as much as how Galatea got formed it was an interesting read but once again I'm escaping the topic once more.

The scrolls I was going over the name Hera came up. (Yes the Queen of Olympus with eternal PMS, that can't stand Hercules, hates Zeus for all that raw cheating that had been going on for centuries. So in some way I have to blame both Zeus and Hera.) As I read it talked about the creation of elemental based automations. I was floored and nearly fell of the stone throne I was sitting on. However one particular image flooded into my mind...

Image

The image compared exactly to the one I read in the earlier descrpitions. Somehow it got me to thinking while the heroes of yesteryear left I needed a few companions myself but I wanted to start off with only one for now. I love the mechical and now computerized based robot. But an automation based on elementals was to tempting to pass up. Of course only fire and water based were mentioned no sign of air, earth, light or darkness. Perhaps they were untested or most likely never concidered given the circumstaces. As soon as this info I discovered I had to try the technique that I able to glean and memorize. With that matter accomplished I had to choose an element. (Although much later I was able to make a multi-elemental enforcer but that would be a tale best reserved for another time.)

Out of the two elements that were presented I choose water. However there wasn't a significant source of that element around which means I had to get of my butt. Then after that I had to go to body of water. Also I had to factor in the type of water. Saltwater was used in the original creation. But my mind got me thinking as I debated the issue in my head, I wanted a new route so I thought about freshwater as well as heavy water. While heavy water was more dense I thought about the cost of agility. Saltwater which was out of the question it came in second place. I thought about going to the polar snowcaps however the north pole had sea ice something that I did not want. The south pole had the most freshwater encased in ice. That was my first destination after getting a dozen pieces of ice six feet high by two feet wide I took them with me. (How did I do that? Teleportation!) The second stop I had to make was to my home state of Michigan and the Great Lakes which is part of the largest body of freshwater on earth. My mind was going back to the natural water cycle. While it did its job I still have to remove the impurites.

Using a localized cold wind to keep the ice blocks from melting too quickly I accelerated the water cycle to make the lakewater as pure as I can get it. Then by melting the iceblocks I aquired I had my water element. First I begin to experiment first with smaller forms then finally working my way up to the target humaniod until I got the result I was hoping for....

Of course I was staring at her and she just looked at me. Just like the empty shell just minus the Hera says kill Hercules bit. The remaining water I didn't use was tucked away in an undisclosed location. I had my own water enforcer. I will only make some cosmetic changes down the road but for now I love this look. I named her Kari because I like the name and two she is one of my beloved companions. This last image was on a recent trip back to Greece.

Now that you know how Kari was forged (a.k.a born into this world.) In the next part of my tale Kari faces new challenges in the modern age! Stay Tuned!!!
