Neil Over Controling
Neil did it again made it all about himself . And this conversion was something he couldnt control so it pissed him off. He sounds Exactly like my dad at times Im right everbodies wrong so live with it. Neil could of gave it time and let Zoe find out for herslf being human was more for her. She can Always turn back. It was Neils rejection of mother that caused all this. But I think nobody get it in the we find out bothsides are wrong in waysand i think it will end up happy. That would not be the hollywood ending. hollywood end would Dr Dyson sacrafice herself to prove she still has some humanity left. Or He would Muder his mom feel bad for about 2 seconds then go on with normal life like nothing happened no matter what happened happened to Zoe. Like in a horror movie when everyones dies except the hero. They grieve about ! second then get Life has nothing has happened . Hollywood always like to wrap things up neat nice.

Re: Neil Over Controling
Neil: I don't think it's necessarily Neil's rejection of his mother as much as it is a rejection of the technology she created. He's clearly been involved with his mother's work in the past and found a distaste for it somewhere along the line. In particular, a distaste for programmed variables and exact calculations. He's been around Dyson gynoids long enough to be able to recognize and predict many of their behaviors, down to the exact pattern of moans during Zoe's orgasm.
He longs for the human condition and a relationship that isn't anywhere near as onesided as one in which your partner can metaphorically flip a switch and change who they are instantly. He thought he had found that relationship with Zoe: besides the initial chemistry between the two, she was also highly unlikely to go through with the conversion process (well, without being completely bullied into it by her coworkers and her future mother-in-law).
Zoe: I agree that she is definitely a victim here, caught in the crossfire between mother and son and their differences of philosophy. While she may have gone through with the transformation of her own will, Dr. Dyson and Zoe's coworkers did everything in their power to coerce her into doing it short of holding a gun to her head. It was never fully explained to her that the transformation will fundamentally change who she is as a person, and now she's finding that out the hard way.
Neil's reaction: Zoe didn't talk to her significant other about going through a lifechanging procedure - and she was doing it for him, not for herself. I'd be just as pissed off. Had she known more about the transformation and decided to go through with it, then discussed it with Neil and he adamantly opposed it without considering her feelings, then I would say he is a bit controlling. But this is not the case.

I cant really knock neil for not caring for synthetic women he's kind of got shoved in the middle of it being who his mom was and i think he just quit caring for it all , Like the people who get so much religion pushed on them they got completely the opposite way of it. I still think the biggest issue was Dr. Dyson not letting Zoe and Neil talk it out and for her to hear his point of view. She has to know he wouldnt be the happiest individual when he found out... Jessica was right i think it was about proving a point she was right he was wrong ... or something like that.. i know i can get that way when i think im right about something theres no talking to me

Interestingly enough there does exist a solution to this whole where all parties could have come out ahead had there just been some open, respectful communication.
I am sure that both Zoe and Neil would agree that temporary conversions into an android body could be both fun and informative on the question of differences between synthetic and biologic consciousness. IDK how resource intensive the organic/android conversion process is, but as Dr. Dyson's son Neil should definitely be able to get some company discounts for Zoe to take android vacations. Hell, no reason why Neil couldn't take some vacations in a fembot form, give Zoe some hot fembot-on-woman action.
The key is respect. Both Neil and Elaine need to respect eachother's viewpoints, specifically Elaine. Neil was clearly right to mistrust her with her fairly extreme views on synthetic life.

Talk it out
My point is Neil didnt properly explain it to his mom. So she thought he would come around. Plus i think it is him rejecting his mom not the technology or he wouldnt have had anything to do with his sister. I think Neil has problems expressing his thoughts to his mom. And i think Dr Dyson thought if Neil cant give me a legit reason then it should be done. My Dad side of family was very controlling and most of time they couldnt give good reasons has why descisions were made. Neil never gave Zoe or his mom any reason to see this has wrong while Dr Dyson knew she could change her back. Has I read it in previous stories the change back was like complete and normal. Dr Dyson on a scale of 1to 10 was at 0 that she would kill off the original Zoe.
Hope you get my point I make so many typos i miss
