Girl's day - Japanese pop

Post by fection » Thu Jul 08, 2010 12:46 pm

Japanese pop 'band'. A few robot/doll-like moves early on and at the end.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VUaA2wccXjc
The song isn't incredibly BAD; it's just like every other pop song you've heard and forgotten. Somebody do something original!

By the way, that's Korean, not Japanese.

I liked that one. The simplistic low-tech "effects" were charming and somehow more effective than when someone tries too hard (often even if they do have the necessary large budget). Plus the girl is like a poor man's Alyson Hannigan and really cute in her own right.

I wasn't as keen on the song ... not terrible, I just wouldn't want to hear it a lot. And as such, I feel lucky that I did not get it stuck in my head ... I better go listen to something else quick.

Wow, I really loved that one, in fact, it's the best I've seen since Basement Jaxx's plug it in, thanks a lot tectile!

Tend not to listen to modern stuff, so cant comment on the song.

But agreed, she was cute, and definitely got into doing the robot stuff, thats for sure.
I'm just a 'girl' who wants to become a fembot whats wrong with that?

I remember finding this one a while back.

If it is possible for man to love machine, is there any way for the machine to love him back? I'd like to think so.

A guy order's some robots from Japan to do his homework. Of course things end poorly...apparently "the Japanese have never seen I-Robot."

Best Buy Commercial - Get a Geek

Unfortunately, that's the best quality version on the 'net that I can find.

Holy macaroni, I haven't seen anything that poorly rendered since my friend and I tried to copy Terminator with a camcorder and TV in 1986. And not just any camcorder: a 2-head Emerson with a tethered, tubed camera. Bought from DAK Industries.

That said, the commercial is okay. I agree with assessment of geek to take home.
