Terminator 4

Post by minkwheel » Sun Nov 18, 2007 6:57 pm

Hi kids.... back from Australia and New Zealand with a little news... Terminator 4 will be directed by "McG" ...he directed "Charlie's Angels" and 'We Are Marshall" ....among other thingies... anyway... I think the Terminator film will be called 'SALVATION" ..........no other bits of info just yet, sorry.... but I DO have one story regarding my travels in New Zealand ... I was in their version of WAL MART called 'THE WAREHOUSE" and just after I found a BOOTLEG of one of my boardgames out there ... (MY ORIGINAL GAME IS CALLED 'MANIC MECHANIC"--and the USA version is with Mattel called 'CARS LATER MATER game" ....but I ain't pluggin' that right now.........anyway....after I spotted the bootleg "MOTOR MECHANIC" ...I went over to the DVD section and LO AND BEHOLD.... A LOVELY SIX DISC COLLECTION OF BIONIC WOMAN EPISODES for the equally lovely price of slightly over $25 American....... YIPPIE SKIPPIE! -- included all five fembot eps too! --but alas........... only ONE copy of the box set in the store.... and all discs were missing......brought it to the attention of one of the employees........but they didn't have any other factory fresh ones......... dammit! -- other than that... I loved my trip over to Australia and New Zealand..... Kylie likes her new cybersuit I brought over. --minkwheel

Sweet, sounds like T4 might actually be pretty good.

Didn't know you were a board game designer...what's some other stuff you've worked on?

And do you have any pics of Kylie in her cybersuit you could *ahem* share? :P

Hi! --welcome to the Fembot Central forums...and PLEASE ENJOY YOUR STAY....come back often because this site changes pretty much on a daily basis! -- Kylie will give EVERYONE a sample of what her cybersuit will do as she is gearing up for a new set of concert dates to promote her new cd ... the suit conviniently fits under any of her costumes, and basically helps her dance day after day so she won't get too tired on tour... Her big smiles on stage are due to the tingly sensation the suit gives her all over as she sings .... She's "gellin' like a fellon" ...THANK YOU FOR ASKING ABOUT MY GAMES ...I come up with boardgames that are sometimes educational... and sometimes simple "dumb action" ones with some humor in 'em... it's the way I think, I guess.... games that have my influence, or are MINE are ... DIGGITY DOG (this one's ten years old and has won awards lately --I'm rather proud of it (it's called other things in many countries that mainly translate as "dogs bark" ... that one's educational... my first game is called 'GOIN' NUTS" and is basically a fast game with squirrels storing colored marbles in a tree... that one's coming back this year in Europe... MANIC MECHANIC is a variation of Milton Bradley's "perfection" but I have FOUR players putting together cars on lifts .....Perfection is only a single player game and with puzzle pieces...no story there... Itsy Bitsy Spider is another one of mine that's been in a few countries, and will be back in the USA this year ...it's a retelling of the old nursery rhyme, and I mix in a little of the PRICE IS RIGHT's PLINKO game with marbles that can knock the spiders off of the water spout while the race is on to the top.... there are more games, but I don't want this to be a commercial....they are fun to work on, but it takes boatloads of ideas that go down the drain before one is accepted to get molded. --I've been pretty darn lucky with some successes. --thanks for asking! --minkwheel

Truthfully... there's no need to be jealous... look around at most of my posts and stories over the years, and you may notice that most of my replies are a bit tounge in cheek, or just plain corny... I DO chime in with news and opinions once in a while, but most of my posts are supposed to be slightly funny. I only know Kylie from her songs and concert footage... plus while I was in Australia, if they weren't focusing on Nicole Kidman, or the Melbourne Cup.... they're talking about Kylie Minogue---who IS coming out with a new album and tour...so I'm sure she'll don a new cybersuit for a few numbers...... a suit which I .........MAY have supplied her thru my BOOMERS R US store.....the GAME designer thing IS true though...my name is printed on the boxes--so I can't fake THAT. -- minkwheel

Glad to hear you had a good time during your trip minkwheel, but that T4 news is truly unfortunate. Hopefully the studio will come to it's senses and give him the boot like WB did when he was attached to Superman Returns.

....and oddly enough...a sequel is being done up for Supes too.... a LIVE ACTION TEEN TITANS movie is in the planning stages as well. --although, I just don't want to see Vic Stone look like Shaq did as "STEEL' .... -- minkwheel

Welcome back from Oz, Mate!
Can't say I'm surprised with your T4 news - shades of STEPFORD, circa 2003........

I'm sure we'll all be treated to months of "drama" {which of course the final product will totally LACK} regarding casting / script / director / actor changes and revisions - and then wind up loathing the finished product IF it isn't shelved at some stage {like "Westworld."} For my money, if you want to do a "franchise" RIGHT today, you should do like Jackson did with the LOTR trilogy - film it all at once, THEN "cut and paste."
Assemble the ladies? I didn't know that they were broken......
