I...I think I might actually enjoy this movie for more than just the fembot. Maybe not, trailers have mislead me before but I don't think this looks bad at all.

I found some interesting fembot-porn on a porn site. Don't know if I'm allowed to post this here, but the female unit has a very interesting malfunction. I usually don't watch "real" fembot content, but this kinda gets me. The malfunction is very convincing.

As far as I know, this episode is from a japanese tv show and it's their version of Power Rangers, I guess.
It features a very hot fembot shutting down after a strike. She's called Android One-Zero and the series Ultraman Ginga S.
Specifically, the shutdown occurs at 10:10 and the reboot at 11:35.
Out of curiosity, the android is played by Moga Mogami - a very famous girl-band member in Japan.
Some episodes are on youtube, but not all have english subs. Thus, I recommend this website:

Thanks. I've found some more harmless stuff today, and it requires a bit more fantasy. I was looking out for some documentaries about artificial intelligence and found this interesting panel where they discuss the matter.

Now I want you to take a close look at that girl hosting the show. From the first second when she talks I couln't get rid of the idea: wouldn't it be great if she actually was an android, smart enough not to reveal her true nature? A prototype, programmed to host the show. Just look at her awkward speech and movement. Her thin arms and the stiff and somewhat twitchy movement. Could be due to her being nervous, could be slight malfunctions. Her face looks weird too. Obviously, it's from plastic surgery. But I think you all could imagine some very interesting mechanics going on under that artifical skin.

Seriously, I haven't heard much about any real progress in robotics, and this here feels like they finally improved something. Hopefully it will progress much faster from now on!

Saw this today. Absolutely stunning. I guess we're approaching the point where we COULD overcome the uncanny valley by going absolutely realistic, then toning the realism down a bit. Ten steps forward, one back. Like they did with Princess Fiona in Shrek.
Soon we will have the perfect gynoid.
