Exactly. Houseman brought that Paper Chase gravitas to the role. This guy, assuming it is Franklin, looks like he builds Fembots during the day and runs the local Tilt-a-Whirl at night for the extra cash.

...but then we're not eyeballin' this book for him anyways.

You'll only get to see anything of interest on the last page of this issue . . . and be warned, folks, it's not much.

On the other hand, it appears that Katy won't be Jamie's enemy in this case.

By the end of the series, I want to see a re-manipulated version of the panels, in which the resolution is not to stop those responsible for this Katy's emptiness, but rather that Jamie and her friend both be made to benefit from the same procedure.

Kind of disappointing, really. Was hoping that she looked like the fembots we all know and love under that face plate (where's the eyes?). Kind of looks like a suit of armor to me.

Chesty sweater girl Tammie is a big improvement over slacker Tammie.

My guess is that the mob killed Dr Franklin, and his creations latched onto Jamie as she helped them. He had probably already given them orders, which they faithfully followed after his death.

It's what I would have done.
