Post by tectile » Mon Mar 07, 2011 4:31 pm

Has any one read the "Cassandra Kresnov" novels by Joel Shepherd?

Are they worth investing time/money in?

I've read the second one a while ago but i can't remember if I finished it. The main character is not an actual fembot but is like a clone with nanobots through out her body which gives her enhanced abilities.

I kind of figured it would be something like that :(

Oh well, I got the first one for free so I'll give it a try and report back if anyone's interested.

I finished the first novel "Crossover" and it I give it a mild thumbs up.
Kassandra is not a clone or biobot, her body is a copy of a human body just made of artificial materials with some augmentations to her nervous system.
Not really much interesting to this group unless you're into some pretty horific scenes of her being dismembered early on in the book.

The book is a fairly well written action/political intrigue/thriller with some scifi elements thrown in.

Read this book on a long trip or when you don't have anything much else to do.
