Exotic Gynoids?

I am curious, from the artwork and stories I've run accross so far. The fembots/gynoids run from either total robotic to completely human with many variation inbetween. I was wondering if you have the technology to mold a robot into whatever you want it to look at, why limit yourself to just human norm? How about exotic hair and eye colors that anime girls have or skin tones like green, red or blue like some Sci Fi aliens. Or even the whole Furry/Anthromorphic Funny Animal route like 'Omaha the Cat Dancer'.

Comments anyone?

Plenty of that sort of thing over on furaffinity.net and pixiv.net - even if robot/cyborg/mecha related submissions are a tiny portion of total submissions, they're both large enough that there's a fair bit of relevant material.

I don't get it. Why does it have to be a fembot to end up as a furry? If one likes to have a furry transformation story, he could start with a human instead. Or is it because the fembot is assumed not to be sentient and thus, qualifies as a sex toy?

I guess that to really be gynoids, they should be still somehow female looking. and that is desired by most to look somehow human too.
At least in some aspect.

if not, is not really a gynoid but just a robot.
And for some, it may even not need to look robotic at all, just to be one.

At least for me the most important is the "controlled part", the fact of using a remote upon them or that they will be programed so they will do whatever i want (based in the programming).
