When Did You Know?

Post by D.Olivaw » Sat Mar 29, 2008 11:03 pm

Just curious, but when did you first know that you were into ASFR? Was there some special event that triggered awareness of your interest in gynoids?

I've always been deeply fascinated by robots and AI, and I guess it was natural that I'd become as interested sexually as I was intellectually :D
In any event, I first started realizing it at around age 13, though there was not specific event that triggered that realization. You?

At about the age of 6 or 7 when I first saw Star Trek and Dr Who, especially the 'I, Mudd' edition of ST I suspect. A few years later brainwashing scenes in things like 'Carry On Spying' and I must have been hooked.

Queen's video for 'Radio Gaga' (includes clips of Metropolis) probably was the nail in the coffin, but even before then I was having fantasies of being robotised or brainwashed, so...
I'm just a 'girl' who wants to become a fembot whats wrong with that?

I've always known about robots -- for most people here that literally means always because I probably first noted the concept in the late 40s when I was 4 or 5 and saw robots in comic books and movies.
However, I've never been particularly mechanically inclined and when I was a young adult computers were large cumbersome devices controlled by punch cards.
What brought me here was when I noted, maybe 10 years ago, an item in Bizarre magazine about RealDolls and saw pictures of their amazingly real looking products. It was then that I realized there could in my lifetime be viable substitutes for women -- and other people for that matter -- that one could interact with less as objects and more as persons. Since then I have tracked the development of fembots, which I see not only as possible sex objects but as assistants if I live long enough to become frail.

About 30 years ago, in 3rd-grade, when I was trying to control a cute (girl) classmate with the keypad of a calculator during recess (and she obliged).

I hardly remember when I was 6 to 9 yr old, I used to play "robot" with a neighbor girl, something like putting bateries on her back and repairing her arms... Who would think this innocent game could lead to a fetish?

I always loved machines since my childhood, and disassembled many of my toys just to reconstruct them (sometimes in different shapes, lol).

Now i'm 28, and still living among machines, only now they are bigger and most of them are gasoline powered ( i own a car tune-up shop).

But... under a fetish perspective... i can't precisely say. I mean, i always liked (willing) fembot disassembly (NYBBLE, WE NEED MORE THERAPY! LOL)

Only one time in early 1990's, i had a dream about a fembot who detached one of her hands and put it in her master's backpack when he went to work for him to 'have fun' with it. (the master was me).

Hmmmm, now that i think of it, i believe that this dream is what got me started.

Like most responders so far, I've been interested and curious about robots from a young age (5 or 6 I think). I was definitely attracted to fembots since puberty, just like I was anything that looked remotely female at that time. (for Buffy fans, best line from Xander was "I'm 17, linoleum turns me on!")

BUT, I never realized I was particularly attracted (as in a real fetish) till sometime after college when I first saw Motoko Kusenagi in Ghost in the Shell. Shortly after that I started to search the Internet, such as it was back then and found only a few random places. That kinda made me feel alone with my fetish for a couple years until I randomly came across/found the ol ASFR site, and shortly after that the Robotgirl pay site and RealDolls. I finally felt a little more normal or comfortable, since there were others with very similar fetishes. That was probably why I lurked for so many years.

The rest is history.

I am an idiot.

For years I had been avidly searching for fembot / cyborg -related materials on the internet. Eventually I found the Fembots on Film gallery, much to my delight. I'm a forgetful guy and I never bothered to remember the actual url, I would always just google-search "fembots on film"

One time, through sheer absurd coincidence, I unthinkingly typed "Fembot Central" instead of "Fembots on Film". Lo and behold, I ended here.

And then only then, after years of actively seeking fembot media did I stop and say to myself "hmm, ya think this is a fetish?" I guess I had never even considered the possibility.
